Last weekend a local sports league hit the start of its 2019 season, and both parents and kids were excited to get the ball rolling!
The Kimberton Youth Athletic League held its opening day ceremonies, one of the few days throughout the season where the entire league is in attendance.
As a tradition at KYAL, each child’s name was announced, ensuring every player felt like a champion.
Team by team, players and coaches gathered on the field to be recognized by the league, followed by the inaugural pitch and the National Anthem.
With the official first day of the season, you could feel the emotion and intensity with each swing of the bat.
League President Scott Grillo was happy to be a part of the festivities and to work with such a large number of players and volunteers.
