Hot Air Balloon Festival
Attention all Balloonatics! The 12th annual Chester County Balloon Festival is taking flight once more, so come on down and enjoy the ride!
Come be a part of a community that’s been around for 235 years!
The first working balloon was made with paper-lined silk in 1783, and ever since then people have been captivated by those colorful envelopes of hot air!
The festival itself will take place over the course of this weekend at the New Garden Airport in Toughkenamon, and the first day you can experience is it today the 22nd, running from 4PM until 9PM. Saturday and Sunday’s hours are from 5:30AM to 9:30PM.
A day pass costs $15, and for kids 12 and under it’s $10. 20+ Balloons, 100+ vendors, and live bands will all be in attendance, but there’s still so much more to see! Tethered and Untethered Balloon rides will of course be available for purchase, starting as low as $15.
Did you know you can also book a helicopter ride as well? Tickets for that are $60 dollars. Flights of all types can be purchased at the festival, but it’s first come, first served!
The Chester County Balloon festival is a non-profit event with the proceeds going to the Chester County Hero Fund and several other local community groups.
Come to this family friendly event and I guarantee you’ll be blown away!
