Christmas in June

Want to make a difference this weekend? See how you can do something for those in need. On Sunday, June 3rd, local non-profit Orion Communities is hosting “Christmas in June”, a fundraiser to help those in need during the summer season. Summer needs include: Sun Block, Sun hats, flip flops, and swim diapers. $10-$50 gift cards to stores that sell children’s summer clothes will also be greatly appreciated. Want to give more than just summer needs? Year-round items such as personal care and toiletry needs will also be accepted. From 10am-4pm, Orion will accept drop-offs of these items at the 200 block of Bridge Street, which coincides with Phoenixville’s Art Street Festival. Alternatively, donations can be dropped off at Orion Communities, which is located on 237 Bridge Street, in Phoenixville. Help us create the spirit of holiday gifting this summer season.
