The Greater Good: A History of Community Organizations Giving Back in Phoenixville

Did you know that Phoenixville has dozens of Community Organizations which help the homeless, educate disadvantaged youth, feed the hungry, plan extravagant parades, create events to bring ethic culture to the public, and provide so many other charitable and educational works? Well, The Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area has a new exhibit opening on Friday, March 2nd from 6-9pm to honor these Community Organizations: "The Greater Good: A History of Community Organizations Giving Back in Phoenixville"

This exhibit is designed to feature some of these organizations, with a special focus on the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, in honor of its 20th Anniversary. Come and learn about all the work done to further the Greater Good, and how these organizations have harnessed the enthusiasm of volunteers to make Phoenixville a place which is known first and foremost for its big heart!
